On 16th June 2007, there is a new life coming into this world... it's Baby Jayden.. Applause to Mummy Sandy, Daddy Delsen and Baby Jayden for doing a great job.. Baby Jayden, u really made us worried and scared..:/
On 15th June 2007, I accompanied San and Del to KK hospital for a routine gynae checkup. Maybe cos it is the 1st time that I accompanied them, then suddenly so many things happen this weekend.. Let me go on one by one..
We reached the clinic at 9 20am.. It was raining cats and dogs. San went ahead for her regular routine test. BP check, weight and urine test and also CTG..San's BP 158/93,if i remembered correctly. John Tee,her gynae doc have already told San that her high BP is due to pregnancy. Her appt with John Tee is suppose to be 10am.. However, John Tee is away for an emergency opt for his patient. We went kopitiam to have some coffee and toast while waiting. When we went back to the clinic, it's about 1130am. Just nice John Tee came, and luckily San is the 1st to see him.. All of us, went in together. John Tee is not happy seeing San's BP results and Baby Jayden's heartbeat.. He did a scan for Jayden.. n i am so excited to see the scan.. Oh I saw Baby Jayden and his mouth is moving.. Seems like crying?? After the scan, John Tee told San that she need to admit today for observation. As her BP is too high and baby is not active enough and baby's heartbeat is weak.
At that time, I am very luan.. All I can do is to calm her down.. We proceed to do the admission procedures and San wanted to go home to pack her stuffs first. However, I know that chances are slim that the doctors will let her go home for a couple of hrs.. True enough, the ward doc does not allow. Her family members are worried and called me to ask if she can go home to pack her stuffs first. At that time John Tee rushes off to do a delivery, therefore there is no way we can get hold of him.I wanna say that, raising voice at someone cos of anxiety, doesn't mean it is the best way to care for that person.. Doctors are always busy, they don't hold clerical duties by sitting at his office only..
I accompanied Del back home to pack San's stuffs. Went to pick San's mum and went down to visit San. San have great appetite. Ate bee hoon, 2 rs later ate a fish fillet burger and 1/2 hr later ate her dinner.. Wow.. pregnant mama have really great appetite.. Haha.. We went home at abt 8 30pm. Del and I went to pick Terence at MS after his work.. Ter went to my hse to stay, as we plan to head down to KK early next morning with Del. Poor Del, he doesn't have appetite to eat. Worried for San and baby.. No Matter how we ask him to eat, he just say no..
On 16th June 2007, 8am, we are woken by our alarm. Abt 15mins later, Del sms me, asking us to sleep loner as San is in the delivery suite now to check baby's heartbeat. Might have to go down later. So we slept to 9 15am.. My phone rang and Del was on the other line. He say baby's heartbeat is weak and San is down going for emergency cesarean.. At that moment, I really was very worried.. Quicky got up, and shook Terence up.. He was kinda shock to know his sis going to the operating theatre soon.. We quickly washes up and Del was at my place at 945am. We quickly went down with Del's mum.. On the way,Del's mood is very down.. He turn on 'Guan Shi Ying Bu Sha' prayers song.. Trying to calm himself..At 10 05am, he received the hospital call. THANKS GOD!! Both Mum and baby is fine..
Baby Jayden is born on 16th June 07, 10 01am and weighing 1.23kg only... He is a premature baby, only 32weeks. He is very active, hearing from the nurses. As we cannot go in to see him, only his parents and grandparents can see..
Baby Jayden, you are really a good boy.. You gave your parents an opportunity to attend Uncle Terence and Aunty Rancy ROM.. HAHA..
